Banzai Max Pro Carbon Maximum Range Wave

A five-batten, maximum-reach wave sail with high-end control. Offering extra control and reach in a wide variety of conditions, the new Banzai Max Pro is our five-batten wave sail. The five battens provide greater overall stability and higher top speeds.

Handling Characteristics: The riser is positioned slightly higher and more centrally compared to the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Surf Pro, promoting a more upright yet neutral feel. This provides great low-end thrust and power, but also excellent high-end control.

Pro Carbon Construction: Every body panel features warp carbon. Main Window Panel: 6 mil Bi-PLY from Dimension Polyant features two 3 mil layers of PET film. This creates a softer hand, better flex, and reduces wrinkles. UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increase product life over traditional monofilm. Upper Window Panels: 4 mil of high-quality Dimension Polyant monofilm. Upper Body Color Panels: 1.5 mil laminated, ultra-low stretch linear warp carbon fibers laid down to control load lines on the sail, combined with super strong Technora aramid X-Ply. The warp carbon provides incredible linear control of the sail profile, while also allowing for dynamic, torsional, and skew stretch and return. This makes the sails feel very quiet, weightless, and very resistant to overpowering. Foot, Tack & Center Luff Panel: 2 mil warp carbon film combined with super strong Technora aramid X-Ply yarns for extra puncture resistance. The warp carbon is extremely strong and stretch resistant, allowing the sail to hold its designed shape for a long time. Utilizing a 2-pass lamination for super strength and even UV resistance, preventing sunlight from passing through yet keeping one side shaded. The 2.0 mil warp carbon in the foot has twice the carbon frequency of the 1.5 mil warp carbon in the body. Double stitched seams around the main window. Dacron leech edge reinforcement. Folded trailing edge on the mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
