Banzai Surf Iris Carbon
Control Surf Wave
Maneuverability-oriented wave sail with four battens.
A focus on maximum maneuverability and control in surf and similar conditions. This new design offers a very neutral feel. You're free to carve your own lines on the wave and ride exactly how you want. With effortless momentum and lightness, it lets you ride for hours.
Handling Characteristics: The Banzai Surf Pro has a slightly taller build with a shorter boom compared to the Banzai 11 Pro and Banzai Max. This, combined with a lower, more centered lift, gives you a balanced, neutral feel for maximum control and maneuverability. This also makes the sail feel super light in your hands, allowing you to ride for longer and maintain complete control when surfing. The power is never too much or too little, always there when you need it.
Elevation: Centered
Agility: Wave Riding
Feel: Light and neutral

Carbon construction, Bi-Ply window, Warp Carbon and Scrim panels.
Available in Rainbow colors with black logos.
Carbon Construction:
Main Window Panel: Dimension Polyant's 6 mil Bi-PLY features two layers of 3 mil PET film. This creates a softer feel, better flex, and reduced wrinkling. UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increase the product's lifespan compared to traditional monofilm.
Upper Window Panels: 4 mil high quality Monfofilm from Dimension Polyant.
Upper Body Color Panels: 1.5 mil ultra-low stretch Warp Carbon fiber laminated yarn laid down to control load lines on the sail, combined with super strong Technora Aramid X-Ply. Warp Carbon provides incredible linear control of the sail profile while allowing dynamic torsional and bias stretch and return. This makes the sails feel very quiet, light and very resistant to overpowering.
Lower Body Color Panels: 2.5 mil Dimension-Polyant Scrim is a polyester plus X-PLY scrim designed to reduce weight while still offering less stretch than a traditional X-PLY only product.
Foot/Tail Panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim features an improved scrim with larger denier fibers while maintaining the high tenacity of X-PLY aramid. It has significantly greater tear and puncture resistance at the highest impact point of pure wave riding.
Double stitching around the main window.
Reinforcement on the edge of the Dacron leech.
Folded rear edge on mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
Advantages of Carbon:
- The upper body panels are made of 1.5 mil Warp Carbon film to emphasize lightness and profile stability.
- Overall improved handling.
- Improved stability in the mid-to-high wind range thanks to Warp Carbon. More reactive and lighter feel.
- Warp Carbon reinforces the Technora X-ply for fundamental profile stability in sail design, as well as excellent durability.
