Handling Characteristics: The lift is slightly higher and further back compared to the Banzai Surf Pro and Banzai Max Pro, promoting a more upright feel but also providing a bit of rear hand pressure for more acceleration when you need it. A direct yet supple feel keeps you connected at all times during maneuvers. The Banzai 11 Pro is our World Cup performance wave sail designed to win in all wave and maneuver conditions. X Pro Construction: Main Window Panel: 6 mil of Dimension-Polyant’s X-Ply film, with black Spectra yarns, an Ultra-PE fiber that provides high stretch strength and high tear strength. The fiber configuration allows for maximum fiber performance while blending into the background. The black yarns are ultra-low reflection, meaning they absorb all light and tend to disappear as you look through the sail, offering the best possible view without distractions. Upper Window Panels: 5 mil of Dimension-Polyant’s X-Ply film, with black polyester yarns, designed to reduce stretch and increase tear strength. Upper Body Color Panels: 2.5 mil of Dimension-Polyant Scrim is a polyester scrim plus X-Ply designed to reduce weight while offering reduced stretch compared to a traditional X-Ply only product. Foot/Tail Panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an improved scrim with larger denier fibers while maintaining the high tenacity X-Ply Aramid. It has increased tear and puncture resistance under the higher impact of pure wave riding. Carbon Stretch Control Tapes are produced using pre-stressed carbon fiber bundles to ensure low stretch and zero curl. Improved PSA adhesive allows for aggressive bonding. The use of these tapes allows for lighter, more efficient sail and head reinforcement. Double stitched around the main window. Dacron leech edge reinforcement. Folded trailing edge on the mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
