This mast is a pretty amazing combination of affordability and great quality. Definitely recommended for more recreational conditions, improving, learning the basics of windsurfing, getting started on the water, planing, learning how to put on leashes and harness, and sailing. The Fifty has the same bend and stiffness numbers as the rest of the Goya mast range, but is slightly on the side of the Surf Trainer mast. It's good for beginners and will perform well in light to strong wind conditions. If affordability is a factor for you, this is your mast.
