For 2024, we’ve softened the leading edge shape, introducing a continuous cambered arc that’s slightly narrower at the shoulders and wider at the wingtips. It’s fast. The wingtips have a more bi-elliptical shape to reduce drag and accelerate turning rate, while a slightly deeper profile in the center creates more lift. Changes to the wingtip inspired a completely reworked bridle and attachment point position, for the most stable Orbit yet. The kite feels even more reliable and forgiving in gusty and windy conditions, yet retains its ability to fly forward and catch you in kite loops. It's intuitive. Riders of all skill levels can experience the best of both worlds, without worrying about their kite's position in the sky. It's more responsive in all conditions. In the smaller sizes, we've slightly reduced the aspect ratio and refined the profiles for improved hang time and a quicker, tighter turning radius for doubles and S-loops. In the larger sizes, we've updated the profiles for a livelier, more reactive feel, with increased low-end performance for heavier riders. We've also reduced the overall kite weight with lighter bladders now in all sizes. Lighter weight means your kite flies faster and sooner, because it needs less wind to get the kite up in the sky.
