North Sonar AF Board Adapter

Description
The Sonar Foil System connects to the board via a lightweight, CNC-machined aluminum adapter with a tapered locking geometry that integrates with the mast, fusing the adapter and mast into a single union for optimal load transfer and a stronger, more direct steering feel when foiling. FE analysis allows us to increase strength in areas of highest stress concentration and reduce unnecessary weight in areas of lower stress. It incorporates a strong geometric locking connection for improved power transfer and a more direct feel.

Characteristics

• Compatible with all boards that use the industry standard 165x90mm mounting pattern
• Strong geometric lock connection for a more direct feel
• Greater resistance in areas of greatest stress
• Compatible with AF foil masts
• Not compatible with AK kite masts
• Not required with CF carbon masts
