Playful yet powerful, the Astra is a bold all-terrain addition to our freeride quiver, delivering out-of-this-world performance to lighter riders. Often, lighter riders find it harder to control large, stiff boards designed for heavyweights. With this in mind, we set out to create a board with a more responsive flex for riders with a smaller frame—one that would deliver greater control in a variety of conditions, improved comfort, and softer landings, without sacrificing performance. The Astra’s shorter board length, narrower stance, and Basalt-Tech construction give riders of all skill levels just the right amount of flex to control edges, boosts, and loops. Its consistent and reliable rail grip gives you extra confidence to push the limits while charging for massive jumps. With its super-efficient bottom shape and rocker, the board feels fast on the water and flies into the wind. The medium flex is dense enough to deliver a clean, powerful pop, yet soft enough to be forgiving to your knees and legs on the hardest landings. Nailing it has never been easier.
