GOYA AIRBOLT PRO 2021

The Airbolt Pro charts a new direction in upwind, bringing the feel of rail-to-rail surfing with strong swells and wind chop to those "average" days where conditions at your local venue are marginal. Using our cross-over knowledge and R&D feedback from surf foiling, we've created a range of boards that introduces a new feel to windsurf foiling.

The Airbolt Pro’s key design feature comes from the mast track—the placement of the foil box—which provides the industry’s most direct feel from sail to foil for greater control and maximum responsiveness. The mast track is positioned further back than traditional boards, and the foil boxes are positioned further forward than standard windfoil boards—more like surfboards, SUPs, and wingboards. This allows for faster, more controlled directional changes and acceleration while carving through swells, wind chop, or small waves, and the ability to ride much smaller sails and foils in the same wind range.

The larger sizes are easy to learn on, while the smaller sizes provide the maneuverability and responsiveness you'd expect from your favorite wave or bump and jump board.

The length and width of the boards are designed to provide a stable and lively platform. Long enough to work in light winds effortlessly, yet short enough to reduce swing weight when flying.

Bottom shape is crucial for any foil board, and every success from our surf foil line has been factored into the Airbolt. From the nose to the midsection, the Airbolt is designed for maximum rebound when you inevitably hit the water. The tail of the board incorporates a rocker line and planing surface similar to our race/freestyle/running plan to ensure an easy glide for early flight. Volume flow has been gradually optimized at the tail of the boards to increase stability in the lightest breezes.

The footstrap and foil box positions offer a variety of options depending on the level and type of foiling you desire.

Outboard/inboard footstrap options provide comfort for cruising or control for new-school foil freestyle maneuvers on smaller models.

The boards feature rail and foil box attachment systems. The rail allows you to precisely balance your foil/sail/stance for perfect pressure, while the foil box accommodates a variety of different foil setups.
