In a straight line or gybing, the Volar Carbon rides naturally, giving riders the confidence to push their game with every move. With its slimmer profile on the water or in the air, the new Volar feels glued to your feet.

Each size was individually tailored to specific conditions, with larger sizes giving a proportionally wider and longer contour, with added balance and the early carve needed for lighter conditions. Smaller sizes have a softer bottom curve for the extra control needed on rougher days.

You can also alter the character of these boards simply by adjusting the straps, using a single or double foot strap at the tail or on all three levels, from the inside to the outside.

By placing the volume flow further back, reducing the overall length, keeping the rails more parallel further back, and most importantly, modifying the rocker and flat spot helps fine-tune the board's initial entry, control, and speed.

Refinements to find the magic combination of these changes resulted in a line the entire team is excited about. The new Volar Carbon is easier to stop when not planing, quicker to get going, and quicker to respond to rider input to maintain control and transition from beginner to intermediate as quickly as possible.

Take off in the lightest breeze and soar through calm moments. The entire board sits just above the water, and from the footstraps, you can maintain total control and a perfect fit. Gybe entry and exit speed have also improved significantly, making these boards a blast to drag race against your friends on the weekend.

These new shapes increase overall wind range and responsiveness. Inspired by the success of the Proton Pro, we were able to achieve our goals by shifting the flow volume rearward, reducing the overall length, keeping the rails more parallel rearward, and, most importantly, modifying the rocker and flat spot to fine-tune initial entry and overall board control.

The boards take off in the light breeze and fly through calm moments. The entire underbody sits just above the water, and from the foot straps, you can maintain total control and a perfect fit. Entry and exit speed has also improved significantly, making these boards a blast to ride or race with your friends.
