Carve Pro Stand Up Paddle Board
With rave reviews for the Carve Pro series, we looked to polish and refine the concept to make it even more aggressive in the waves. The overall range sees a modification to the fin position, moving the group further forward, to increase ride, efficiency, and overall flow on the wave face. Features of this board include a faster rocker. The boards simply accelerate faster and have a faster top speed in the wave, making turns more radical and allowing you to tackle the section easier than on previous models. The fast rocker also helps increase paddling speed, making it easier to catch waves and get into the best positions. This is especially noticeable in fast waves and crowded lineups. Speed is very important in both small and large waves, and these new boards have plenty of it. Additionally, the new Carve Pro offers a great nose lift in combination with a narrow nose. This really helps when dropping, especially when dropping late in bigger waves when you don't want to catch the nose. Thin rails contribute to a looser feel and a tighter turning radius. The narrow overall width is faster, while a shallow tail makes the board feel smaller for an improved surfboard feel with more release in the top turn. The integrated stability platform provides a stable ride. This greatly helps reduce fatigue, especially with smaller flipping boards. The new Carve Pro comes with a 3/4 pad. The Thruster or Quad option allows for a wide range of adjustments. In bigger waves, you can really benefit from the Quad option for more speed and grip. The Carve Pro offers a consistent feel throughout the range. Each board has similar surfing characteristics with some progression as the boards get smaller. The 7'7" is the most extreme board in the range, while the larger boards in the range are a bit more forgiving and make it easier to surf, have fun, and progress. These boards excel on 1/2-foot to 15-foot walls—they love to be ridden. Each board in the new range was tested in a wide variety of conditions in Hawaii, California, South America, and Europe. The result is a range built to handle a wide variety of waves. Stability was also an incredibly important factor in making these boards easy to use in a wide range of conditions. For example, in big waves, there's a lot of moving water, and staying upright and secure is very important. In choppy, bumpy conditions, these new boards are very stable and allow you to use a smaller board than you think and ride better. The Carve Pro is a board without limits.
