Handling Characteristics: The lift is slightly higher and further back compared to the Banzai Surf Pro and Banzai Max Pro, promoting a more upright feel but also providing a bit of rear hand pressure for more acceleration when you need it. Pro Construction: Main Window Panel: 6 mil Dimension Polyant Bi-PLY features two layers of 3 mil PET film. This creates a softer hand, better flexibility, and reduces wrinkles. UV inhibitors in the adhesive significantly increase the product lifespan compared to traditional monofilm. Upper Window Panels: 4 mil Dimension Polyant high-quality monofilm. Upper Body Color Panels: 2.5 mil Dimension Polyant Scrim is a polyester plus X-PLY scrim designed to reduce weight while offering reduced stretch compared to a traditional X-PLY only product. Foot/Tail Panel: 4 mil Aramid Scrim has an enhanced scrim with larger denier fibers while maintaining the high tenacity aramid X-Ply. It has increased tear and puncture resistance in the higher impact of pure wave riding. Carbon Stretch Control Tapes are produced using pre-stressed carbon fiber bundles to ensure low stretch and zero curl. Improved PSA adhesive allows for aggressive adhesion. Using these tapes allows for lighter and more efficient patch and sail reinforcement. Double-stitched seams around the main window. Reinforced Dacron leech edge. Folded trailing edge on the mast sleeve to prevent fraying.
